A NEW APPROACH
We seek to improve the ability of workers and our business partners to take a lead in improving workplace conditions, and to enhance the sustainability of improved workplace conditions in the following ways:
• Empower workers to protect their own rights and take an active role in improving their working conditions
• Build or improve factory human resources systems to maintain good working conditions, including factory grievance systems to routinely find and fix noncompliance problems |

• Use new methodologies to move beyond policing factories to analyzing root causes to gain a better understanding of a factory’s individual needs
• Coach and train business partners on best practices for addressing root causes of noncompliance across the industry
• Work with stakeholders to strengthen implementation and enforcement of labor laws |
