Five Star Looks, but Strangely Unsupportive
"There is something about this vintage look in this somewhat off-white and green color way that just really highlights the silhouette of this sneaker that I just have not found in the modern Classic Leather versions on the market. It looks awesome. I give them five stars on looks and wanted to keep them. The materials used also look to be slightly better quality and the interior of the shoe is more plush. But I still had to return these, because of how strangely unsupportive the shoe feels. I dont know how to explain it other than the heel feels elevated, so all the pressure falls on the heel and front pads of your feet. Not only does it appear that this shoe has no arch support, but running my finger along the inside of the shoe, it actually feels like the shoe dips down, where arch support should be bumping up. I had a similar issue with my vintage Club Cs, which I decided to keep anyway, but it caused such bad heel pain on the inside of my heel that I ended up getting rid of them after only a few wears. I think if Reebok could figure out how to bring back the vintage style of this shoe and other styles, but with proper insoles that support rather than create pressure points, these would be selling a lot better and closer to full price."
