Thank Your Crossfit Open Support Squad With These Downloadable Cards

Can you believe it? The end is in sight! After a grueling month, we’ve reached the final few days of the 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games Open.

Whether this last month has left you with a new list of PRs or just some added post-workout soreness (or better yet, the inevitable combination of the two), congrats, you’ve made it to 18.5.

Getting here isn’t the easiest feat (as if Dave Castro would ever throw us an “easy” Open workout), but the challenges are certainly more enjoyable when you have a supportive community judging you, coaching you, and cheering you on through it all.

“The Open puts the community aspect of CrossFit on full display,” says two-time Fittest Woman on Earth Annie Thorisdottir.

“When you’re competing in Regionals or the Games, it’s the crowd that powers you through and keeps you energized. But in the Open, it’s the community at your box that motivates you every week and every workout—your training partners, coaches, and the whole gym family.”

Thorisdottir’s fellow countrywoman Katrin Davidsdottir is quick to agree.

“That’s what makes the Open so special,” she says. “It reminds you what a great support system you have. Everyone wants to help everyone else succeed.”

So before the Open wraps up and 2018’s soreness is just a memory, take Davidsdottir’s advice: “Remember to thank the people in your corner who helped you through these five weeks. Don’t just be thankful for them; actually say,‘Thank you’ to them.”

To help you do that, Reebok has created a suite of Open themed digital thank you cards. Just click on a card below to download the image to your phone or computer, and viola, it’s ready to be texted or emailed to your favorite workout buddy, rep counter or cheerleader.
